A solution to this netcom.ca/attcanada.ca dilemna would be for the
mail administrators at netcom/attcanada to register the names as
aliases for LISTSERV:

http://www.lsoft.com/regaliases.html

This must be done by someone in authority at netcom/attcanada --
someone who can assure us that there will never be two distinct
addresses [log in to unmask] vs. [log in to unmask]

Then, once we have confirmed the registration, the alias will be
propagated to all networked LISTSERV servers running 1.8d.
Admins at sites running in standalone mode can add the alias
manually to aliases.file. Networked sites can do that now as a
temporary measure, but the file will be replaced at the next update,
so any unregistered changes to the file will be lost.
