You might try using Telnet to port 25 on that machine.  If that machine allows the Telnet session to be established, then something is grabbing the port.  The service doing the grabbing might also identify itself.  Remember, you must specifically tell Telnet to connect using port 25.

Hm.  Well, the error definately means that something else is grabbing
port 25.  I'd look in the services to see if anything suspicious
there is started up.  (Microsoft SMTP, etc.)
