I have a site that has a PIX, but claims they fixed the MailGuard bug described in: http://www.lsoft.com/manuals/lsv-faq.stm#5.6a I still have a queue: $ lscp show queue /full /dest=schnader.com Entry-.Message---- Size---- Rcp Rtr Since------- R Destination----------------- 000727.06.47D16D5D 1027 001 030 0 13:54:10 S SCHNADER.COM Originator: <[log in to unmask]> Recip.# 57: <[log in to unmask]> ...and the site still shows the astericks: $ lscp resolve /connect schnader.com 09:59:37 MX query for SCHNADER.COM 09:59:37 trying (via UDP) DNS server 149.68.16.12 status = %LSMTP-S-OK, Ok cname = SCHNADER.COM mailers: phexch01.SCHNADER.COM 0 192.204.178.18 bnemail.SCHNADER.COM 1 10.10.60.7, 209.21.230.60 09:59:37 connecting to phexch01.SCHNADER.COM 09:59:38 phexch01.SCHNADER.COM( 0) >>> 220 ******0************************************* *********************************2************* 09:59:38 phexch01.SCHNADER.COM( 0) <<< QUIT 09:59:38 phexch01.SCHNADER.COM( 0) >>> 221 closing connection The question is, I guess, is the line of astericks indicative of anything more than the spoor of a PIX? Does its presence imply that MailGuard is being used? (I'm guessing "yes") Does its presence imply that the bug is still untreated, or can a fixed PIX still exhibit the astericks? (Yes... I know my next chore is to enable LSMTP logging on Schnader) -Kary
