I am still struggling with a problem I cannot find the answer to - I've checked all the manuals and FAQs, and posted this here before but didn't get any useful responses. I have several lists that *almost* always change the format of messages sent to them, from HTML to plain text. I *do not* have the NoHTML setting in any of the list headers; in fact, the headers are extremely simple - I've included a sample below. I have a test list with a header that was *copied* from one of the lists that have the problem, and I cannot reproduce it on the test list. Every message I send to the test list comes through fine - *almost* every message sent to the real lists come through as plain text instead of HTML. Every once in a while one comes through in HTML perfectly. It's driving me crazy. We use Exchange for our SMTP server and Outlook 2000 for most, though not all, of the clients. I can sent the exact same message to my test list and one of the real lists - on the test list it appears just as I sent it, on the real list it has reverted to plain text. The only difference is in the number of list members - my test list has 2, the real lists range from 10 to over 600 but I can't imagine that would have anything to do with it. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and how to fix it? --- sample header --- Subscription= By_owner Ack= No Confidential= Service Validate= Yes Reply-to= Sender,Respect Review= Owners Send= Private Notify= No Errors-To= [log in to unmask] Notebook= Yes,d:\listserv\archives\flc-announce-l,Monthly,Private Default-Options= Repro Loopcheck= Spam-Delay(0) owner= [log in to unmask] Language= Exchange (* I put this in to try to solve the problem, but it doesn't seem to make a difference) Kerry Vosswinkel Systems Manager Fort Lewis College Durango CO vosswinkel_k at fortlewis dot edu (970) 247-7345
