For what it's worth, we scan *inbound* mail going to the Listserv system
but not outbound - it was relatively simple to implement since we already
had a rack of Mirapoint systems.

We don't do it to protect the Listserv system itself - we do it to minimize
the effects of The Next E-mail Based worm (Sircam, Nimda, Klez, etc).  All
it takes is a few people posting to a mailing list that has 3,000+ local
subscribers to start a really nasty virus burn....
