> Under the List Archives, you are asked: > Path, Frequency, and Access > > We do not know what any of this means or what to put here. > Path: complete filesystem path to the directory where you want the physical archive files to be stored. This would normally be somewhere within your web server's root file area. For example, on a Windows system you might put: C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\archives\name_of_list Frequency: how you would like the archives to be grouped in terms of time period. This just determines which posts will be displayed on the list's index page. 'No Access' means that the list won't be accessible via the WWW interface at all. Access: this controls who can get to the web pages of the list. If 'Private' then only subscribed members of the list can get to it. If 'Public' then it's wide open to anyone with an Internet connection. Have you got a copy of the LISTSERV Owner's Manual or Site Manager's Operation Manual yet? They've got everything you need to know about LISTSERV. http://www.lsoft.com/manuals/1.8e/index.html -- Chazzozz!!
