(it was line 4 I think) It was behind a > symbol which LISTSERV recognizes as a 'quoting' symbol and ignores any following text on that line. You could also use the common -- (dash+dash+space) in the left margin to tell LISTSERV to stop processing for commands and ignore all following text to end of message. Wes' server could be 1.8d and LSTOWN-L is 1.8e (there were some changes in this area of processing for 1.8e which could make a difference.) Alignment of sun/moon/stars.
