For Internet mail names, this means the address portion to the right of the "@" is invalid for mail. This codes is only useful for permanent failures. It is a bad mail system that reports your address does not exist, yet delivers mail to you. This is not a LISTSERV problem, but a problem with your mail system/ISP/etc.
