Presumably the Subscriber wants to receive mail from your list. In Challenge/Response systems, there must be some mechanism for the Subscriber to indicate that mail from the list is wanted and should be 'white-listed' or otherwise able to bypass the C/R, because that's what the Subscriber wants. If they don't know how to do this, then assistance (first from the ISP, then from the C/R provider) should be forthcoming. If the C/R provider says this can't be done, then they have a pretty poor excuse for a (lack of) service and the ISP needs to be told why the Subscriber and now former customer is finding a new ISP with more intelligent staff and sensible service offerings.
