I didn't realize Trump was attempting to do such a thing. Such a legal stunt would not be out of character for Trump though. I seem to recall that when Trump opened his Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City (about 50 miles from where I live), he used the threat of legal action to compel the owner of a neighboring Indian restaurant with the same name as Trump's casino to change the restaurant's name. In this case, it remains to be seen whether or not the court will allow Trump to copyright the phrase "you're fired" or even trademark that phrase.
