We have come across a problem with our Listserv web interface. We're running 1.8d on Solaris. When a subscriber tries to update their email address using the 'change' command, they receive the confirmation request message at their new address, as is correct. However, if they follow the URL to confirm the change, they get this error message: Your request cannot be processed because the confirmation came from [ANONYMOUS]@LISTSERV.LINGUISTLIST.ORG rather than [log in to unmask] .... I'm guessing [log in to unmask] is some 'default' address (our server is listserv.linguistlist.org). There are no problems if the user replies to the email to confirm the change. There are also no other problems with the web interface, so a new subscriber can follow the URL to confirm a subscription request, for example. I have had a look in our www_archive.mailtpl file but the Confirm1 template is the same as in the default.mailtpl file. I have a feeling that I should be looking somewhere other than the template files, but I don't know where else to go. As a last resort, I can remove the reference to the URL from the template, but this would remove it for all commands. Any help with this problem would be much appreciated.
