Hi Ben, I have added two lines to the go.user file: RUNMODE="STANDALONE" export RUNMODE then stop/start the daemon again. But I still get the same message every 15 minutes. Any idea? This is otherwise known as the "World-wide LISTSERV Backbone". Give the experimental nature of your site (running under the unusual name 'elistserv') you should simply disconnect your server from attempts to contact the backbone. Assuming you are running on a flavor of Unix, add the following line to your go.user file and then stop/restart LISTSERV. RUNMODE="STANDALONE"
