If this problem started when LISTSERV was moved from one platform to another,
I would check with the system administrator to be sure that the mail server
software on the new system is patched/configured to ensure proper handling of
addresses in this format. There is a patch for sendmail to make it handle these
addresses. I do not know what might be required for other MTA products.
