Each message from one member of Toller-L generates the following message. You'll note it implies the message is held but in fact, the message appears on the list so far as I can tell. At the same time, the test from Listserv indicates the test of the subsriber message is included and it is not. While an easy response might be "that's AOL", no other AOL subscriber produces this result. I look forward to hearing candidate solutions to this mystery. Thanks. It is being forwarded to you for verification because the message has been identified as a possible "spam", that is, an advertisement or other unsolicited material sent to large numbers of mailing lists with no consideration for whether or not the material is appropriate for the lists it is being sent to. A single "spam" can result in the delivery of millions of unwanted e-mail messages worldwide, costing the victims and service providers a total of several hundred thousand dollars. The cost to the spammer is usually under five dollars. To be effective, a counter-measure must neutralize the spam within the first five minutes. Consequently, there is no time for all the LISTSERV servers to compare notes with each other before acting, and some legitimate postings may be intercepted erroneously. If this is the case, simply forward this message back to the list with an explanatory note. =================== End Part 1 / Begin Part 2 ===================== Topic: Nested Internet Message Header Return-Path: <[log in to unmask]> Received: from 209.119.1.21 by NETPALS.LSOFT.COM (SMTPL release 1.0l) with TCP; Thu, 20 Jan 2005 08:13:21 -0500 Received: from imo-m20.mx.aol.com by mango.ease.lsoft.com (LSMTP for Windows NT v1.1b) with SMTP id <[log in to unmask]>; Thu, 20 Jan 2005 8:13:20 -0500 Received: from [log in to unmask] by imo-m20.mx.aol.com (mail_out_v37_r3.8.) id x.158.488b589f (4584) for <[log in to unmask]>; Thu, 20 Jan 2005 08:13:17 -0500 (EST) From: [log in to unmask] Message-ID: <[log in to unmask]> Date: Thu, 20 Jan 2005 08:13:17 EST Subject: Re: Fear periods and evaluations To: [log in to unmask] MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Mailer: 8.0 for Windows sub 6036 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-= DO NOT REPOST THIS PART =-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To unsubscribe or change options, send a message to: [log in to unmask] Message options: SIGNOFF TOLLER-L :To Leave List SET TOLLER-L NOMAIL :To stop mail temporarily SET TOLLER-L DIGEST :To receive digests SET TOLLER-L MAIL :To receive regular mail SET TOLLER-L INDEX :To receive digest indexes ========================== End Part 2 ============================= ----End Forwarded Message(s)----
