We're currently testing migrating from AIX to Solaris and ran into this SIGNUP file rehash issue. After setting the SIGNUP_HASH variable to "13", 13 signup files were created and we could login ok. But very soon afterward(within a minute) the 13 signup files were combined into 1 signup file. We were still able to login, but why this happened is a mystery at the moment. I left the SIGNUP_HASH="13" variable setting in the go.user file and restarted the server with the same results. 13 signup files were initially created, but a few seconds later, they disappeared and only 1 signup file remained. Has anyone else seen this behavior? -Brian On Wed, Feb 09, 2005 at 02:05:07PM -0500 or thereabouts, Margaret King wrote: > Hi Wayne, > > If people have passwords set up and you want to bring those > over, that means you'll have to move the SIGNUP files.
