Actually this is due to the mail client obeying the MIME standards for how the message with graphics (attachements) should be formed and which parts go where (the graphics always go at the end). So this is the order of parts in the message when it arrives at LISTSERV. By custom, LISTSERV always lists attachments (of any kind) in the message archives as hyperlinks.
