I do not know how you define "large", but we host nearly 40,000 lists on our LISTSERV server, which is managed by the same group that manages our central mail servers. We have seperate mailboxes for [log in to unmask] and [log in to unmask], but the same folks check both mailboxes. The output of the 'release' or 'show version' command includes the visible postmaster address(es) for the server. Output from a 'release' command sent to [log in to unmask] is appended below. ----- Original message ----- Subject: Re: release Date: Wed, 11 Jan 2006 18:46:30 -0500 From: LISTSERV.LOC.GOV LISTSERV Server (14.4) <[log in to unmask]> To: [log in to unmask] > release LISTSERV(R) for unix version 14.4, managed by: [log in to unmask] Master nodes file version: 2005-08-24 08:38:18 (VERS9922) NJE peers file version: 2005-08-24 08:38:19 Internet peers file version: 2005-08-24 08:38:18 Service file version: 2005-08-24 08:38:19 (VERS9922) Alias file version: 2005-08-24 08:38:18 Running under: SunOS 5.8 Build date: 19 Jun 2005 Summary of resource utilization ------------------------------- CPU time: 0.010 sec Overhead CPU: 0.000 sec CPU model: 4-CPU Sun-Fire Job origin: [log in to unmask] ----- end of original message -----
