I apologize for being unclear. Right now I have subscribers that can issue commands to the list by emailing [log in to unmask] They post messages to [log in to unmask] For example, if a subscriber wants to change their format to digest they send a SET LISTNAME DIGEST command. If they want to get a list of available archive files they send an "INDEX LISTNAME" command. And so on. I want to remove the ability of subscribers to issue commands to the list server. Once this is done, they should be able to do two things: 1. post messages 2. receive messages. You may get more useful responses if you elaborate on the problem you are experiencing. For example, are messages that SHOULD have been sent to the "command interface" (such as subscribe or signoff) being distributed to the list population? Or do you wish to block the processing of such commands? >>> [log in to unmask] 3/15/2007 1:10:28 PM >>> Hello, Is there a way I can prevent subscribers from issuing commands to the list altogether? I simply want subscribers to be able to post messages and nothing else. Is that possible? Thanks, -Mike
