Whenever you think DISTRIBUTE jobs, you should be thinking LISTSERV Maestro instead. LISTSERV and LISTSERV Maestro cannot query the LDAP database directly, but there is a ODBC-LDAP bridge tool that can be used for this purpose. I know of a major news organization that does exactly that, to query millions of email addresses from LDAP to use as recipients for LISTSERV Maestro jobs. If you are interested in the ODBC-LDAP bridge tool, talk to your L-Soft sales rep. They can put you in touch with the vendor. -- Francoise Becker There is only one LISTSERV(R) -- the product that launched the email list communication industry in 1986.
