LISTSERV® and Windows 7
LISTSERV 16.0 (beta) will support Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2 (validated).
L-Soft has also tested LISTSERV 15.5 extensively under Windows 7 and has encountered only minor problems. In particular, the setup program will warn that this is not a supported operating system, but installation will complete successfully if you choose to install. Customers upgrading an existing LISTSERV 15.5 installation to Windows 7 or Windows 2008 R2 may have to change ACLs to conform to the new application pool identity feature of IIS 7.5.
