The name could be in one of the global mail templates. See Server Administration/Customization/Mail Templates drop-down menu and, under Select Template Category:, click Only display modified templates.
I presume you have already removed this individual as Postmaster from the Site Configuration.

Hi All,
Does anyone know where I can change the name associated with listmaster? Every time a mail goes out from our server it has the name of our old sys admin associated with it instead of something else. I’d like to know where I can go to change that name.
