I think what I'd like to do can't be done, but I wouldn't mind hearing I was wrong about that. Here's the deal:
We've got some automatically generated lists and some
manually generated lists. I've got a request to take one list--call it
mainlist--and break it into two parts--call them--sublist-manual and
sublist-automatic. The two sublists would be subscribed to mainlist and
end users would be subscribed to mainlist.
Okay, that's the easy part, and I've done that. What I'd really
like is to have the end user's email show the To: field as mainlist rather
than the sublist to which the end user is subscribed.
Can this be done? I don't think so, but I've been wrong before.
