Costly (in terms of service to your users) but simply stop LISTSERV. If this is Windows, keep SMTPL running. Yes, many files will accumulate in the ~\SPOOL directory. However, many of these files will begin with B_xxxxxxx. They are bounces which you can safely delete after the dust has settled. Note some of these files may be bounces for mail to other lists. Tough. This is emergency triage you are attempting. Wait until new files stop appearing in the ~\SPOOL at an alarming rate. Then do your deletions, then restart LISTSERV. BTW, you should add this setting to site.cfg (and then restart LISTSERV) JOBQ_MINPROC=0 This will speed up bounce processing. Once the dust settles, You need to add Attachments= No, Filter Sizelim= 100K (or 50K) to the list configuration(s) to prevent future similar events. ############################ To unsubscribe from the LSTSRV-L list: write to: mailto:[log in to unmask] or click the following link: http://peach.ease.lsoft.com/scripts/wa-PEACH.exe?SUBED1=LSTSRV-L&A=1
