This thread has veered off-topic. Looking for answers to these two questions:

 

1) The keyword reference doesn't specify whether wildcards are permitted with Allow.
Responder below thinks the answer is YES.

 

2) Does Filter= bypass list moderation?

I've never used filter "allow", but it sounds like it should work as you wish.  The asterisk is allowed in similar places, so I would expect it to be allowed here.


You haven't shown your "Send= " setting.  If you don't have "Confirm" as a "Send=" parameter, that may be all you need to add.  Of course, it would mean that your posters would need to respond to the confirmation email created by their post ... not a bad idea if you want to curb spoofing.
