First level: I would expect to see that message when a list owner sends “ADD MYLIST [log in to unmask]” to LISTSERV without specifying any name and that LISTSERV does not have a name on file for [log in to unmask] If LISTSERV had a name on file for that address, it would use that name. Second level: LISTSERV wants to have a personal name for every subscriber of every list. On Sep 18, 2014, at 10:18 AM, Eckard, Steve - eckardsl <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > Greetings all. Can some one tell me what creates the message” [log in to unmask] is not yet in the signup file. Please specify the full name of that person, as in "ADD MYLIST [log in to unmask] Joe H. Smith"? > I just add the name or instruct the owner to add the name in parenthesis as the example shows but am not sure what generates the message.
