We started with Ease Home years ago, but we had to keep thinning the archives to cut storage costs. So we opted for the license and then hosted it on my server. No real issues til now, until the DMark issue, and now I'm looking at adding attachments & small photos.

I realize that it is tempting to replace a monthly charge with a one-time charge for a perpetual license with no maintenance, but it is not a viable strategy in the long run. We barely make any money at all on EASE Home.
