Hi Wayne,

Thank you for your suggestion. The server logs, to my knowledge, are managed by the host but available to our sys admins -- presumably for their own troubleshooting should there arise a question regarding general performance or availability. The sysadmins would not see the application logs as being within their purvue. Anyway, wouldn't a scheme to collect these logs (and distribute them to LISTSERV admins by some mechanism) have to be either a real-time process or an on-demand job?

I was hoping that another LISTSERV site had a similar need and resolved it by customizing a web template that reads and displays the console log file in the same way that the 'system activity report' function reads/displays the system changelog. Don't want to reinvent this wheel twice!

Thanks for your reply,

Greg Dietrich

If your sysadmins have a syslog logging/collection system, perhaps they could add the listserv logs to it and make the result available to you?

Cheers, Wayne

ed and viewable within LISTSERV but other suggested solutions are welcome. The contents of system and list-level change logs is already accessible to the administrator via menu selections in the web archive (WA) interface.
