I agree that this is probably spam.

But I might suggest *before* forwarding any such emails (with links) to 
a whole 'nuther email group ...... If it is Necessary to actually send 
the link, that the sender should go into the format email section of 
their email program and both *remove links" so that the phishing link is 
NOT active!

If the actual URL is visible, I also change / corrupt the URL so that it 
no longer points to the problem site?

If I did this right, this should not be a live link anymore, so IMHO 
much safer if I need to forward.
