Thanks for the replies, everyone. We use the list exit keyword on many of our database-driven lists of faculty, staff, and students to prevent individuals from unsubscribing so I'm familiar with this concept. I assumed that you could always unsubscribe but wanted to be sure. I don't = believe Lsoft will write one for you; ours are in Perl. ________________________________________ From: LISTSERV List Owners' Forum <[log in to unmask]> on behalf= of Kenny, Melissa S. <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Friday, March 17, 2017 3:20 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: By-owner subscription setting and unsubscribe requests It doesn't specify this in the documentation so I want to double check. If= you have your Subscription keyword set to "By-Owner" and someone tries to = unsubscribe will it go to the owner(s) for approval or will they just be un= subscribed once they confirm? I have a new list owner who thinks their use= rs are unsubscribing and I want to be sure in what I explain to her. Thank= s.
