You shouldn’t be using port 25 for incoming mail. It is not the standard, and just isn’t secure; that’s why it is blocked. You should use port 110 for non-SSL, or 995 for TLS (and you SHOULD use TLS always, although you need to support both). For outgoing port 25 is for non-TLS, and 465 for TLS. I found out that my IP has port 25 blocked and I am being told that it will not be an option. I have set up the ListServ on a Centos 7 machine with sendmail also active. I have no problems sending emails out on port 25, but incoming emails through my IP on port 25 are blocked. I have asked my IP about it but they are telling me they have up to 5 business days to reply. My history with getting results from my IP have not been all that great. Is there an easy, reliable and non-cost way to get around the port 25 issue? > > Warren Glore > Owner > Mid America Training > > To unsubscribe from the LSTSRV-L list, click the following link: > http://peach.ease.lsoft.com/scripts/wa-PEACH.exe?SUBED1=LSTSRV-L&A=1 <http://peach.ease.lsoft.com/scripts/wa-PEACH.exe?SUBED1=LSTSRV-L&A=1> ############################ To unsubscribe from the LSTSRV-L list: write to: mailto:[log in to unmask] or click the following link: http://peach.ease.lsoft.com/scripts/wa-PEACH.exe?SUBED1=LSTSRV-L&A=1
