Sure, this can be done... What I had thought of is the following: create a list on a central LISTSERV site, owned by all the 'official' relay accounts, with Review= Owner (I'd have to check review can be set to 'owner', but if it's not, it's because I have forgotten to replace the internal test by a call to the new LSVALLOW routine :-) ), Send= Owner, Notify= No. The relays would then automatically issue a "QUIET ADD" to add the guy to the list upon receipt of a /SIGNUP command. The list password would be unknown to the relayops so that no relayop can change the header, and Validate= Store only. That would provide a list of all relay users in the world :-) The central LISTSERV userid could have class 4 privs on all relays and a command could be sent to it to lock out the guy on ALL the relay sites :-) I plan to add a "$" command to the next ver- sion of LISTSERV to give every site the ability to implement local commands without having to modify LSVCMD every time they get a new version: any command starting with "$" would be forwarded to LSV$CMD EXEC which might or might not accept it... Any comments before I leave? :-) Eric
