UN*X address have to be the way they are on the machine receiving mail. My address is mcnc!ncsu!abc, and there is NO @ sign! Legit UUCP addresses SHOULD NOT HAVE @ SIGNS IN THEM!! UUCP routing is not set up the same way that RSCS is (Thank God), and not every host knows about every other one (only about 10,000 hosts)... To get there, you have to know the EXPLICIT route.
