Valdis, We already have a "DELETE <list> <user@node> (GLOBAL" command, to remove <user@node> from all peers of <list>. How about a "DELETE * <user @node> ( GLOBAL", to tell *every* LISTSERV to remove <user@node> to a "DELETE <list> <user@node>" for all lists on that LISTSERV? I imagine the traffic could get awfully hevy from such a request, but I expect that could be handled. The only problem is the authentication issue: The "DELETE <list> <user@node> ( GLOBAL" is based on peering, with a common password. Some way of telling the foreign Listserv that the user issuing the command is a local postmaster would be necessary. Does any of that make sense? Ross
