Hello, We had another LISTSERV loop here last night. A large piece of mail for INFO-M2 came in that was bigger than maxmail's value. The LISTSERV machine began looping saying that it could not process the file over and over again. The contents of the 1 of the thousands of files :-) was: >========================================================================= >Received: by UCF1VM (Mailer X1.24) id 4485; Fri, 29 Jan 88 08:28:44 EST >Date: Fri, 29 Jan 1988 08:28 EST >From: Revised List Processor (1.5m) <LISTSERV@UCF1VM> >Subject: Message >To: Jim Ennis <JIM@UCF1VM> > >Error occured while processing file (1803) from BSMTP@UCBJADE: "Mail file >exceeds maximum allowable size". File has been transferred to [log in to unmask] I was able to kill many of the files here and Bill Rubin up at CUNYVM trapped many of them also. We are currently running VM/SP HPO 5.0, the error occurred under CMS Rel 4 and CMS Rel 5.0. Has anyone else had this happen lately? I am going to shut down the list when I leave today because I can't trust it. I will logon at midnight and early morning over the weekend to transmit any held files. Sorry for the network load, Jim Ennis
