Lately there are several big ones which are >passed to the XWell MAILER which in turn chikes on them with "Header stack >overflow". Me too. A simple fix is to increase Mailer's storage. *Sigh* yet another server with more than 1MB (until now Mailer was happy with 800K). Anyway it's probably not that bad do do this to prevent Mailer from crashing on arbitrary junk (which apparently is more complicated than to handle correct mail files :-) And changing a directory entry is much simpler than to teach Mailer not to fill its storage when attempting to skip a junk header. But why is Listserv sending these X-LUPD JOBs to Mailer if it can't handle them? Just curious. Thomas P.S.: Isn't networking wonderful? I'm trying to imagine what will happen in such a situation when I'm out of town for a long vacation :-( I assume there are more nodes than just my own node where only one person knows enough of Listserv, Mailer, and all that jazz. Do you have the same feeling of beeing chained to this @#^&# computer, every day coming to work curious to see which server has crashed this day? It's just a rhetorical question ....
