Well, we've had APAR VM29275 since mid-February and I never had to modify any Listserv code since the apar was applied. This APAR fixed the original broken APAR which attempted to fix TRANSFERring to/from non-existent userids. The part of HPO5's spool which can't get APARed ('cause it really isn't broken) is the spool id of a file changing when being CP TRANSFERred to/from another user. If user THEM has reader file 0001, then the CP class D command TRANSFER THEM R 1 TO * would result in: Pre-HPO5: RDR FILE 0001 TRANSFERRED FROM THEM HPO5: RDR FILE nnnn TRANSFERRED FROM THEM RDR FILE 0001 where 'nnnn' will be a new number in your reader. So, if you always use the third word of the output from a 'good' Transfer command, you'll always have the right spool id, HPO5 or not. Phil
