Well, so far the flood has not reappeared tonight.  What was happening,
though, was multiple repetitions of a large number of old messages from
several lists.  All copies of a particular message each had the same
date and time.
 
LISTSERV@RUTVM1 is where I get LSTSRV-L from.  Does that suggest that
the message from LISTSERV@UTAHBUS went to the whole list?
