Hi folks, today I received two mail files which I had received already in September 88. They came up with the old 'Date:' line and no 'Resent-' line in the header(s). Where do they come from ? Where were they stored or duplicated ? I enclose the headers of both the old and new files for both reappered mails. Please look at the 'Received:' and 'Date:' lines ! Looks strange :- DB0TUI11 is the node next to DB0TUZ01 (my node). --Frank (Sorry about the multi-list-posting) First example: ------------- >Received: by DB0TUI11 (Mailer X1.25) id 0825; Thu, 27 Oct 88 16:34:11 MEZ >Date: Thu, 8 Sep 88 11:23:23 EDT >Reply-To: Node Management List <NODMGT-L@DB0TUI11> >Sender: Node Management List <NODMGT-L@DB0TUI11> >From: [log in to unmask] >Subject: Re: gmtoff, longitude/latitude, state/province >To: Frank Elsner <181@DB0TUZ01> >In-Reply-To: Lawrence Kalman's message of Thu, 08 Sep 88 12:00:44 +0200. > > [ message text deleted ] >Received: by DB0TUI11 (Mailer X1.25) id 7590; Fri, 09 Sep 88 01:42:05 MEZ >Date: Thu, 8 Sep 88 11:23:23 EDT >Reply-To: Node Management List <NODMGT-L@DB0TUI11> >Sender: Node Management List <NODMGT-L@DB0TUI11> >From: [log in to unmask] >Subject: Re: gmtoff, longitude/latitude, state/province >To: Frank Elsner <181@DB0TUZ01> >In-Reply-To: Lawrence Kalman's message of Thu, 08 Sep 88 12:00:44 +0200. > > [ message text deleted ] Second example: --------------- >Received: by DB0TUI11 (Mailer X1.25) id 0712; Thu, 27 Oct 88 16:20:02 MEZ >Date: Fri, 16 Sep 88 14:06:00 EDT >Reply-To: [log in to unmask] >Sender: General network forum <INFONETS@DB0TUI11> >From: [log in to unmask] >Subject: Need help reaching USENET/UUCP address from BITNET >Comments: To: [log in to unmask] >To: Frank Elsner <181@DB0TUZ01> > > [ message text deleted ] >Received: by DB0TUI11 (Mailer X1.25) id 0470; Fri, 16 Sep 88 22:24:23 MEZ >Date: Fri, 16 Sep 88 14:06:00 EDT >Reply-To: [log in to unmask] >Sender: General network forum <INFONETS@DB0TUI11> >From: [log in to unmask] >Subject: Need help reaching USENET/UUCP address from BITNET >Comments: To: [log in to unmask] >To: Frank Elsner <181@DB0TUZ01> > > [ message text deleted ]
