The catch is that your domain for internet addresses *must* be in DOMAIN NAMES since LISTSERV validates addresses with that file. Until I registered .UAKRON.EDU and it appeared in DOMAIN NAMES in Dec 1988, I manually added this entry to my DOMAIN NAMES each month. I use: * Service= AKRON*,*.UAKRON.EDU * Confidential= Service in my local-only lists. (Before .UAKRON.EDU was in DOMAIN NAMES, VAX1.CC.AKRON.EDU users would get that "you are outside the service area of this list" message.) Gary
