I think you are probably getting the files from NODUPD-D,
although I can't remember right off hand where that list is located.
(A quick search of the LISTS database will provide that, if you
are familiar with database searches). The reason they appear to
come from a LISTSERV is (as I understand) due to the nature of
file distribution. Since files do not have the standard mail header
with the From: and Sender: fields, the files show up as coming from
where they were actually sent from, which is always a nearby LISTSERV.
(I might be wrong on a few minor points, but it's close.)
