The listserv obviously run in a loop, when getting a return from the mailer_system@..... (see appended return). The listserver don't realize that the mail comes back from the mailer, so it treats it as a normal mail for the specified list..... loop. I took this mailer out of service by Tell listserv quiet serve mailer_system@..... off, but thats no solution for future. So the question is? Why can't listserv detect that mails as a return. Is it a bug in the listserv, or is it a syntax error from the mailer. Any idea, folks ? Thanks for help Hilde PS: I'll be on vacation till 10th of Jan. 90 %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Via: UK.AC.EARN-RELAY; Tue, 19 Dec 89 22:51 GMT Received: from UKACRL by UK.AC.RL.IB (Mailer X1.25) with BSMTP id 7075; Tue, 19 Dec 89 22:50:50 GM Received: by UKACRL (Mailer X1.25) id 4093; Tue, 19 Dec 89 22:50:45 GMT Date: Tue, 19 Dec 89 20:47:00 GMT Reply-To: [log in to unmask] Sender: Red File Server Users Group <[log in to unmask]> From: [log in to unmask] Subject: %% Undelivered Mail %% To: BSMTP <[log in to unmask]> Your mail was not delivered as follows: %MAIL-E-SENDERR, error sending to user ZDEE762 %MAIL-E-OPENOUT, error opening !AS as output -RMS-E-CRE, ACP file create failed -SYSTEM-F-EXDISKQUOTA, disk quota exceeded %MAIL-E-SENDERR, error sending to user ZDEE762 -MAIL-E-OPENOUT, error opening !AS as output -RMS-E-CRE, ACP file create failed -SYSTEM-F-EXDISKQUOTA, disk quota exceeded Your original mail header and message follow. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Via: UK.AC.EARN-RELAY; Tue, 19 Dec 89 20:45 GMT Received: from UKACRL by UK.AC.RL.IB (Mailer X1.25) with BSMTP id 4419; Tue, 19 Dec 89 20:30:43 GM Received: by UKACRL (Mailer X1.25) id 1564; Tue, 19 Dec 89 20:30:39 GMT Date: Tue, 19 Dec 89 18:57:00 GMT Reply-To: [log in to unmask] Sender: Red File Server Users Group <[log in to unmask]> From: [log in to unmask] Subject: %% Undelivered Mail %% To: BSMTP <[log in to unmask]> Your mail was not delivered as follows: %MAIL-E-SENDERR, error sending to user ZDEE762 %MAIL-E-OPENOUT, error opening !AS as output -RMS-E-CRE, ACP file create failed -SYSTEM-F-EXDISKQUOTA, disk quota exceeded %MAIL-E-SENDERR, error sending to user ZDEE762 -MAIL-E-OPENOUT, error opening !AS as output -RMS-E-CRE, ACP file create failed -SYSTEM-F-EXDISKQUOTA, disk quota exceeded Your original mail header and message follow. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Via: UK.AC.EARN-RELAY; Tue, 19 Dec 89 18:56 GMT Received: from UKACRL by UK.AC.RL.IB (Mailer X1.25) with BSMTP id 1666; Tue, 19 Dec 89 18:14:01 GM Received: by UKACRL (Mailer X1.25) id 9002; Tue, 19 Dec 89 18:13:55 GMT Date: Thu, 14 Dec 89 18:45:44 GMT Reply-To: [log in to unmask] Sender: Red File Server Users Group <[log in to unmask]> From: [log in to unmask] Subject: AIDS TROJAN 2 To: BSMTP <[log in to unmask]> (.........
