It works in the following way: 1. The server which receives the original message from the user decides whether or not acks are wanted. 2. All the other peers act as dictated by (1). That is, each user tells the peer it is subscribed to what kind of acks he would like to receive, and doesn't have to bother with the other peers. Changing the keywords on PURCCVM is pointless - it is only doing what UCHCECVM tells it to do. The users in question should send a SET CHILE-L NOACK to LISTSERV@UCHCECVM (or, of course, the list owner can do it for them). Eric
