Hi all, I don't know if any of you backbone postmasters have had this happen to you, but my LISTSERV has been chugging like mad for the better part of the last few hours on repeated netwide SIGNOFFs from users at SCRANTON. The files appear to have originated from the LISTSERV at BITNIC. I would suggest that the next time toe folks at SCRANTON do mass signoffs like this, that they submit ONE signoff job rather than so many? It would certainly save CPU overhead as well as network file traffic load even though the files are very small. If it would help, I would be willing to help the SCRANTON postmaster with this. In any case, I thought I had better warn everyone to keep an eye out for these signoff jobs. - David
