I can't figure this one out... The e-mail address listed in the "To:" field, * <\\[log in to unmask]>, isn't even close to any address on the list. I've also checked the Listserv console logs for signs of weirdness and have come up blank. I don't think Listserv has done anything wrong, but I'm not sure who to contact since I'm at a loss to figure out what software trashed the mail header. Has anybody else seen this before? -jj ----------------------------Original message---------------------------- >The enclosed mail file, found in the VFORT-L reader and shown under the spoolid >4910 in the console log, has been identified as a possible delivery error >notice for the following reason: mail origin seems to be a mailer or >mail-daemon. > >------------------------- Message in error (42 lines) ------------------------- >Received: from UAFSYSB.UARK.EDU by JHUVM.BITNET (Mailer R2.07) with BSMTP id > 4909; Fri, 14 Sep 90 01:25:46 EDT >Received: by UAFSYSB (Mailer R2.07) id 9621; Fri, 14 Sep 90 00:23:55 CDT >Date: Fri, 14 Sep 90 00:23:53 CDT >From: Network Mailer <MAILER@UAFSYSB> >Subject: Undelivered mail >To: <[log in to unmask]> > >Your mail was not delivered to some or all of its >intended recipients for the following reason(s): > >Unknown host: DD.BITNE ... >No recipients for this node. > >--------------------RETURNED MAIL FILE-------------------- >Received: by UAFSYSB (Mailer R2.07) id 9619; Fri, 14 Sep 90 00:23:54 CDT >Date: Fri, 14 Sep 90 01:16:22 EST >Reply-To: VS-Fortran discussion list <[log in to unmask]> >Sender: VS-Fortran discussion list <[log in to unmask]> >From: RIshi <[log in to unmask]> >To: * <[log in to unmask]> > >Hi, > >(text of message deleted...)
