Yesterday OHSTVMA's archive disk filled. A note of mine to MAILBOOK was
among those that couldn't be archived due to the problem. Apparently
LISTSERV held the notes until the problem was resolved. When the
problem was resolved, LISTSERV seemed to think the notes were duplicates
of notes already successfully processed and returned them to the
authors.

Does 1.6e take its checksum of a note before the note has been
completely successfully processed? Apparently my note was neither
logged nor distributed, but its checksum was noted so that it could be
later rejected as a duplicate.

Thanks,

Nick
