>* EDITOR= HARRISON@RPIECS,STEPHEN@RPIECS, ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ----------------------------- >* COMSPRT3@RPIECS ------------------------- Perhaps it is clearer now. The program that extracts keyword/value pairs from the list header does not know anything about the meaning of the keywords; if you want, you can put "Sxjkdsf= EWREWREWW" in the list header, and it will happily record that there is a keyword called SXJKDSF for this list whose value is EWREWREWW. The comma has a special meaning for the EDITOR keyword, such that it does not make much sense to have a comma followed by a blank, but the list header processor does not know about that. It finds a blank and happily records the end of the EDITOR keyword, and anything that follows this blank is a comment, until the next keyword. If you want to "continue" a keyword, you have to specify its name multiple times: * Editor= HARRISON@RPIECS,STEPHEN@RPIECS * Editor= COMSPRT3@RPIECS Eric
