As Eric points out, this is not a workable solution. ATTMAIL seems to be broken, and that's the best place to start. Having said that... (text deleted...) > ... Frankly, why don't you try to get ATTMAIL >fixed rather than attempting to lay the blame on LISTSERV? Ha! Good luck! After my letter to the postmaster at ATTMAIL.COM was returned to me with some cryptic garbage in the header, I *phoned* the number listed in the mail header. The person I spoke with was rude, argumentitive and didn't understand my questions. He even claimed that the line "Subject: Help Ticket ID: 2699" was not inserted by ATTMAIL. His maintained that the Internet inserted the line. When I demanded that I be transfered to someone who could explain what was wrong, he refused saying he didn't see what good that would do. Great, so at best, they have one rude employee that answers the phone number they place in their e-mail headers, and their mail software rejects mail that (I assume) is RFC-822 complient. That hardly justifies asking 200+ Listeserv sites to change their code. > Eric -jj PS - In all fairness, the rude person at ATTMAIL did say he would have someone call me back after I insisted. Of course, nobody has done so, but it's the thought that counts right? PPS - My thanks to whomever has kindly taken on the task of generating AT&T ticket numbers on behalf of ATTMAIL.
