Just when you thought you'd seen it all, yet another surprise. I have tried to resolve this for two weeks now and its driving me nuts. This is a local list (well, on my Listserv, not local service) with no peers and Mail-via is DIST. There is a subscriber, <[log in to unmask]> that keeps getting bounced back to me *FROM KSUVM!* as not being a local recipient. No kidding! Question is how is KSU getting the file in the first place. Direct mail to GERMANY.EU.NET works fine. Any ideas/clues? /Jeff/ JEFF@UTCVM or [log in to unmask] ----------------------------Original message---------------------------- The enclosed mail file, found in the HP3000-L reader and shown under the spoolid 3815 in the console log, has been identified as a possible delivery error notice for the following reason: mail subject indicates a delivery problem. ------------------------- Message in error (50 lines) ------------------------- Received: from KSUVM.KSU.EDU by UTCVM.BITNET (Mailer R2.08) with BSMTP id 6193; Tue, 31 Mar 92 11:52:59 EST Received: from KSUVM by KSUVM.KSU.EDU (Mailer R2.07) with BSMTP id 1618; Tue, 31 Mar 92 10:48:53 CST Date: Tue, 31 Mar 92 10:48:50 CST From: <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Subject: Undeliverable Mail KSUVM.KSU.EDU unable to deliver following mail to recipient(s): <[log in to unmask]> KSUVM.KSU.EDU received negative reply: 550 <[log in to unmask]>...
