The users could only if they first issue a signoff from the old address an then sign on again from the new one. A long time ago (back in 1988) Michael Gettes wrote LSVCHGMS which auto- magically changed the name of one node in all the files where it was needed. As far as I can remember it was a great success. This time it's simpler because the changes don't have to be coordinated. On the other hand many things have changed in LISTSERV and without modification it will probably make a mess. I have the thingies still spinning on a disk ... if someone wants to review and update them? Silvia?? And don't forget that LISTSERV and LISTEARN may differ ... Christian
