For those of you who are curious, like me, there do NOT appear to be any notebook archives at the SCIFAQ-L distribution site. I guess we'll still use the ftp site rtfm.mit.edu (formerly pit-manager.mit.edu). Maybe they're in NETFAQS? /Pete >>> Item number 1919, dated 93/06/03 08:40:00 -- ALL Date: Thu, 3 Jun 1993 08:40:00 EDT Reply-To: LISTSERV list owners' forum <[log in to unmask]> X-Sender: LISTSERV list owners' forum <[log in to unmask]> From: "Peter M. Within that, there is a file stored called AVAIL FAQS that is an abstraction of the filelist. Note both that file and the fn/fts that it points to gets updated nightly, so you can't really AFD to fn/ft (other than AVAIL FAQS) since the fts change. Here is a truncated listing of AVAIL FAQS List of available FAQS This file is during a short period of time (our night = USA evening) NOT in synchronization with the real files. fn ft subject (or Archive-Name if available) -- --- -------------------------------------- FAQ 1 bit.listserv.mbu-l : mbu faq draft (325 lines long) FAQ 10 ai-faq/part2 FAQ 100 comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc : faqlet posting 5/15/93 FAQ 101 software-eng/part3 FAQ 102 software-eng/part1 FAQ 103 software-eng/part2 FAQ 104 sources-test-faq FAQ 105 proj-plan-faq FAQ 106 z-faq FAQ 107 comp-speech-faq /Pete
